In order to provide better service for China Hong Kong/Macao visa applicants, those foreigners who hold regular passports are required to submit their applications to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (hereinafter referred to as "CVASC") at  its service area.  The Consular Section of this Embassy will no longer accept the aforementioned applications directly starting from May 1, 2019.

　　II. Office hours and charge 

　　     1. Office hours: Monday-Friday (except Chinese and Japanese public holidays) 

　　     2. Application Submission hours: 9:00a.m to 3:00p.m

　　     3. Payment and Collection hours: 9:00a.m to 4:00p.m

　　     4. Charge : Besides visa fees , express fees and communication fees charged on behalf of this Embassy, the CVASC also charges extra service fees. Detailed information could be found on the CVASC's official website or obtained directly by consulting the CVASC. 

　　     5.Processing time: relative application should be forwarded to the government of the Hong Kong special administrative region or the government of the Macao special administrative region for review and examine ,the length of processing time may be longer.Once the visa has been approved,we can provide three different services if applicants ruquest:espress,urgent and ordinary. The collcction time is same as other visas .

　　III. Special Tips

　　     1. Whether or not a visa could be issued is decided by this Embassy, the CVASC is not involved in the approval process. 

　　     2. The diplomatic, service (special or official) passport holders, those who apply for diplomatic, official or courtesy visas, and the Chinese citizens who apply for entry permits to Hong Kong, is required to submit their applications to this Embassy as before(Address: 3-4-33 MOTO-AZABU, MINATO-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN; office hours: 9:00am-12:00am). 

　　     3. Applicants could either submit their China Hong Kong/Macao visa applications to this Embassy through the CVASC, or directly submit their visa applications to the Immigration Department of Hong Kong SAR or the Immigration Department of the Public Security Police Force of Macao SAR.
